  • Our goal is to teach and empower future leaders of a green generation to make a difference in their community and the planet by learning and practicing environmental sustainability.
  • Together we collected over 20,000,000 pounds of textiles annually and gave it a second life!

Our story

We’re dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment and our community. We’re thrilled to share that our efforts have been recognized with several awards, which we proudly display in this section. Our team is passionate about reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices, and we’re committed to encouraging others to do the same. Through our recycling program, we’ve diverted thousands of pounds of waste from landfills and turned them into valuable resources. Additionally, our fundraising efforts have supported local organizations and initiatives that align with our values.

Green Business Leader Program recognizes and promotes businesses that volunteer to operate in a more environmentally responsible manner through sustainable actions. Businesses receive many benefits to be a part of the program. Recognition for the clothing recycling and fundraising program in conjunction with Gwinnett County Schools since 2016
Business-Education Partnership Awards recognize best practices and provide examples for schools and businesses to aid in the development and maintenance of partnerships that support high-quality CTE. Such quality partnerships align with ACTE’s goal of connecting education and careers and will ultimately lead to improved career readiness and thus a stronger workforce. Charity Recycling Service was recognized for its work with the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools as their Business Partner in Education for 2020. They were chosen to represent OCPS and receive the Florida Department of Education Commissioners Business Recognition Award
